Not everyone excels at school, but that does not necessarily mean that those who don’t get recognized are a failure.
Such was the mentality of one grandma that instead of admonishing her ward about not being able to graduate, she got creative. She knew how good her pet is that she made an award just for him.
Angel has been a beloved part of the Cervantes family for years. Mariah Cervantes’ grandmother thought of enrolling the charming black canine to a dog school specializing in obedience training. It turned out, school and Angel were not that compatible.
The doting grandma saw how her adorable dog tried his best to complete the training course. She knew in her heart that Angel is the best pooch out there. So when he failed to earn the certificate that proves he is an obedient dog, she knew she had to do something. Angel might not have an actual diploma from the obedience school, but his loving granny got her one.
Mariah’s grandma printed a Certificate of Excellence and wrote Angel’s name on it as a recipient for the award on Obedience. She was honest enough, though, to indicate that the certificate was awarded at home and that the signatories were just family. But she went all out in putting the forged doggy diploma in an ostentatious golden frame.
The proud grandmother displayed the fancy forgery for everyone to see. Mariah’s initial reaction was to laugh out loud, but she said that she was not surprised. Her grandmother has been doing hilarious stuff to show how she supports and cheers for the ones she loves.
Angel is so lucky to have a family that clearly adores him. His grandmother obviously knows him best, so she has the authority to grant an award of whatever he deserves.
Admittedly, the diploma was fake, but his grandma’s love is genuine, and that’s what matters the most.
ok a year ago my grandmas pup failed his puppy obedience classes and my grandma told me it was her fault for not being a good trainer so she gave him her own reward and I’m barely seeing it lol so cute pic.twitter.com/gcgo29bJ2o
