They’ll get more fur that’ll increase in thickness as they age, but if your F1b Goldendoodle has curly hair as a puppy, it’ll probably have curly hair as an adult.
How Big Is A Goldendoodle?
Like many mixed breed dogs, Goldendoodles come in different sizes to meet different owner requirements. In most cases, you’ll see them classed in toy, miniature, standard, and medium sizes.
Toy Goldendoodles
Toy or teacup Goldendoodles are extremely small. Their miniature size means that they can fit into a bag, which is ideal for those that want to travel with their dog.
They’re also great choices for those who live in small apartments. Toy Goldendoodles are very light, as they normally weigh between 10-20 pounds. They can stand 25-40 cm tall, which is about the same height as a laptop.

Standard
When it comes to Goldendoodles, the word ‘standard’ doesn’t mean medium in size. Standard Goldendoodles are the largest ones you can find. You should expect these dogs to need lots of exercise and enough space to live in.
Both Goldendoodle genders can weigh over 50 pounds, and they can be over 22 inches in height.
How Much Does A Goldendoodle Weigh?
Goldendoodles vary in weight, as they come in several sizes. In most cases, adult standard-size Goldendoodles weigh from 45 pounds up to 90 pounds.
After 4.5 – 5 months, they should reach half of their adult weight. They can reach their full adult weight anywhere from 12.5 – 16 months.
Medium Goldendoodles can weigh up to 45 pounds, while Mini ones can weigh up to 35 pounds. Both mini and medium Goldendoodles reach half of their end weight from 3.5 – 5 months.
As they reach 11-13 months old, their weight should start steadying out to its adult weight.
